(PARKING PLACES AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2012

On 16 July 2012, The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council being the Traffic Authority, made a road traffic regulation order as follows:-

EFFECT OF ORDER: To consolidate, vary and add waiting prohibitions, as set out in the schedule below.

DATE OF OPERATION: The order will come into operation on 3 September 2012.

FURTHER DETAILS: A copy of this notice, the order as made, a map showing the location and effect of the order, a statement of reasons and the orders revoked may be inspected during the usual office hours at the following places:-
Branch Library, Station Road, Romsey (Opening hours: Mondays and Fridays 9.00 - 5.00; Tuesdays and Thursdays 9.30 – 7.00; Wednesdays 9.00 - 1.00; Saturdays 9.00 - 4.00)
Council Offices, Duttons Road, Romsey (Opening Hours: Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 - 5; Fridays 8.30 - 4.30)
County Council Information Centre, Mottisfont Court, High Street, Winchester (Opening hours: Mondays to Fridays 8.30 – 5.30)

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person who desires to question the validity of the order or of any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made(i.e. by 27 August 2012), apply for the purpose to the High Court.

Botley Road Extension of existing parking restrictions to prevent inconsiderate parking causing delay to regular bus services.

Brownhill Road Parking restrictions to prevent inconsiderate parking which is causing a problem with highway safety.

Firgrove Road Parking restrictions to prevent inconsiderate parking.

Fleming Avenue Parking restrictions to prevent inconsiderate parking.

Horns Drove Parking restrictions to prevent inconsiderate parking which interferes with bus services.

Hulles Way Parking restrictions to prevent vehicles parking on the inside of the bend at the junction with Langham Close which interferes with the visibility splay.

Redbridge Lane Parking restrictions to prevent inconsiderate parking interfering with traffic flow and causing congestion.

Routs Way Extension of parking restrictions along the southern side of Routs Way to prevent inconsiderate parking which interferes with bus services.

Rownhams Lane Parking restrictions to prevent inconsiderate parking at junction with Firgrove Road

Nursling Business Park Conversion of existing 1-hour parking bays into unrestricted bays and addition of further bays to increase the availability of parking

Toogoods Way Parking restrictions to prevent overspill parking from the local rugby club and inconsiderate parking at the weekend. Introduction of Residents’ Parking Spaces only. Residents and Visitor permits will be available to eligible residents of Toogoods Way subject to conditions on payment of a fee of £15.00 per annum per permit

Upton Lane Proposed parking restrictions to prevent inconsiderate parking.

Willis Avenue eastern Parking restrictions at school pick up and drop off times to prevent spur road inconsiderate parking.
