TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – PART OF A3090 WINCHESTER HILL, ROMSEY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) has made an Order to allow access for works to replace a wheel timber at the railway bridge, as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED That part of A3090 Winchester Hill, Romsey for a distance of 20 metres either side of the railway bridge

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE From the eastern point of the closure east on A3090 Winchester Hill to its junction with Cupernham Lane. North on Cupernham Lane to its junction with Fishlake Meadows. West on Fishlake Meadows to its junction with A3057 Greatbridge Road. South on Greatbridge Road to its junction with Duttons Road. South east on A3057 Duttons Road / Malmesbury Road / Alma Road to its junction with A3090 Winchester Road. East on A3090 Winchester Road and Winchester Hill to the western point of the closure and vice versa

PERIOD OF ORDER: From Sunday 15th July 2012 for a period of 3 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner

DURATION OF WORKS: Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the closure will be required from fifteen minutes past midnight until 10.00 a.m. on 15th July.

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out
