TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – NEWTOWN ROAD, SHERFIELD ENGLISH
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) has made an Order to allow for resurfacing and lining works to take place in the carriageway, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That length of Newtown Road, Sherfield English
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE From the southern point of the closure, east on A27 Salisbury Road to its junction with Danes Road. North on Danes Road to the northern point of the closure and vice versa
PERIOD OF ORDER: From Wednesday 6th June 2012 for a period of 3 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner
DURATION OF WORKS: Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day only on a date to be signed on site Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out If you have any queries regarding the diversion or works, please contact Paul Garrod on behalf of Hampshire County Council, telephone 0845 603 5633.
