TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –
PART OF LOCKERLEY ROAD, DUNBRIDGE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) has made an Order to allow for drainage and BT cabling works, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED That length of Lockerley Road, Dunbridge between its junctions with Butts Green and B3084 Hatt Hill
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE From the western point of the closure west on Lockerley Road / Butts Green. South and east on The Street / Romsey Road, Lockerley. North on Saunders Lane and Dunbridge Lane, Awbridge. Further north and west on Barley Hill / Lockerley Road, Dunbridge to the eastern point of the closure and vice versa
PERIOD OF ORDER : From Saturday 18th February 2012 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner
DURATION OF WORKS : Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two weeks for the drainage works (cabling works will take place over three days from 20th February)
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out
