TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –
CHURCH LANE AND POUND LANE, SHERFIELD ENGLISH
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow for patching works to the highway, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED Church Lane and Pound Lane, Sherfield English
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES From the eastern point of closure, south on Branches Lane to its junction with A27 Salisbury Road; west on A27 Salisbury Road to its junction with Graemar Lane; north on Graemar Lane to its junction with Church Lane and vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From Friday 17th August 2012 for a period of 3 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than one day on Friday 17th August 2012
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out
