NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow for resurfacing drainage and footway works to take place in the carriageway, as follows:- ROADS TO BE CLOSED Cattle Lane, Abbotts Ann from the railway bridge to A343 Salisbury Road Clatford Road and Church Road, Abbotts Ann from Duck Street to A343 Salisbury Road Georgia Lane, Amport for a distance of 400 metres either side of the railway bridge Globe Yard, Andover from High Street to Waterloo Court Dunbridge Lane, Awbridge from Kimbridge Lane to Stanbridge Lane Roberts Road, Barton Stacey from Cocum Road to Bullington Lane Braishfield Road, Braishfield from Jermyns Lane to Kiln Lane Station Road, Chilbolton from Coley Lane to Little Drove Road Queenswood Road, East Tytherley from North Walk to Queenswood Green Drove and Green Lane, Enham Alamein from A343 Newbury Road to Malthouse Lane Cholderton Road, Grateley from a point 200 metres north of Grateley Drove to the railway bridge Romsey Road, Lockerley from Carters Clay Road to Mount Lane Andes Road, Nursling at the roundabout and approaches Newbury Hill, Penton Mewsey from Chalkcroft Lane to Penton Sawmill Whitenap Lane, Romsey from Botley Road to Luzborough Lane Duttons Road, Romsey from Malmesbury Road to Greatbridge Road Church Street, Romsey from Market Place to The Horsefair Church Lane, Romsey from Mill Lane to The Church of St Mary & St Ethelflaeda Routs Way, Rownhams from Horns Drove to Rownhams Lane North Lane, West Tytherley from Yew Tree Lane to Dean Road Scallows Lane & Tutts Lane, West Wellow from Romsey Road to Wellow Drove Winchester Road, Wherwell from Fullerton Road to Longparish Road ALTERNATIVE ROUTES As signed on site PERIOD OF ORDER From Tuesday 1st May 2012 for a period of 12 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner DURATION OF WORKS Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the closure will be required for periods to be signed in advance on site Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out If you have any queries regarding the diversion or works, please contact Rob Nicolls on behalf of Hampshire County Council, telephone 0845 603 5633.
