TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –
PART OF MAURY’S LANE, WEST WELLOW
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) has made an Order to allow for the replacement of the water main to take place, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That part of Maury’s Lane, West Wellow between its junctions with A36 Salisbury Road and Slab Lane
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the eastern point of the closure north east on Maury’s Lane and Romsey Road to its junction with Buttons Lane. South on Buttons Lane and Lower Common Road to its junction with A36 Salisbury Road. West on A36 Salisbury Road to its junction with Maury’s Lane and vice versa
PERIOD OF ORDER: From Monday 23rd April 2012 for a period of 3 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner
DURATION OF WORKS: Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 13th July 2012
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out
