TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that she proposes to make an Order under Section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of a length of Station Road which lies to the west of Bishop’s Waltham Pond at Bishops Waltham, in the City of Winchester.
IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to WYG Planning Mr Adam Cundale by Winchester City Council on 1 December 2011 under reference 10/01650/FUL.
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED at all reasonable hours during 28 days commencing on 23 February 2012 at Bishops Waltham Library, Free Street, Bishops Waltham, Southampton, SO32 1EE and may be obtained free of charge from the Secretary of State at the offices of the Department for Transport (quoting reference NATTRAN/SE/S247/464) at the address stated below.
ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed order within the period of 28 days commencing on 23 February 2012 by notice to the Secretary of State, quoting the above reference, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, 2nd Floor, Lancaster House, Hampshire Court, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7YH.
In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.

Planning permission is granted for erection of retail store and doctors surgery with undercroft car parking; refurbishment of existing mill building for 3 no. residential flats and ancillary store uses; associated landscaping, access works and linkage improvements (THIS APPLICATION IS A DEPARTURE FROM THE LOCAL PLAN) at land at Abbey Mill Business Site, Station Road, Bishops Waltham, Hampshire.
