TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –
PART OF BRAISHFIELD ROAD, ROMSEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow for resurfacing the carriageway, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED That length of Braishfield Road, Romsey between Sandy Lane and Woodley Lane
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE From the northern point of the closure north on Braishfield Road to its junction with Sandy Lane. West on Sandy Lane to its junction with Cupernham Lane. South on Cupernham Lane to its junction with A3090 Winchester Hill. East on A3090 Winchester Hill to its junction with Braishfield Road. North on Braishfield Road to the southern point of the closure and vice versa
PERIOD OF ORDER: From Monday 13th February 2012 for a period of 3 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner
DURATION OF WORKS: Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the closure will be required for five days
