NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
The Borough Council of Test Valley proposes making a road traffic regulation order as follows:-
EFFECT OF ORDER:To revoke the following road traffic orders:
a) The Hampshire (North Baddesley) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1968
b) The Hampshire (Rownhams Road, North Baddesley) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1985
c) The Hampshire (Firgrove Road, North Baddesley) (Restriction of Waiting) Order 1994
d) The Hampshire (Routs Way, Rownhams) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1997
e) The Hampshire (Nursling Street/Service Road, Nursling) (Parking Places and Restriction of Waiting) Order 1998
f) The Hampshire (Nursling Industrial Estate) (Parking place and Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2001
g) The Hampshire (Andes Road, Nursling) (Restriction of Waiting) Order 2002
h) The Hampshire (A27 Botley Road, North Baddesley) (Restriction of Waiting) Order 2003
i) The Hampshire (Nursling Street/Service Road, Nursling) (Parking Places and Restriction of Waiting) Order 1998 (Variation) Order 2003
in order to consolidate, vary and add waiting prohibitions, as set out in the schedule below.
FURTHER DETAILS: A copy of this notice, the proposed order, a map showing the location and effect of the proposal, a statement of reasons and the orders to be varied may be inspected during the usual office hours at the following places:-
(i) Branch Library, Station Road, Romsey (Opening hours: Mondays and Fridays 9.00 - 5.00; Tuesdays and Thursdays 9.30 – 7.00; Wednesdays 9.00 - 1.00; Saturdays 9.00 - 4.00)
(ii) Council Offices, Duttons Road, Romsey (Opening Hours: Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 - 5; Fridays 8.30 - 4.30)
(iii) County Council Information Centre, Mottisfont Court, High Street, Winchester (Opening hours : Mondays to Fridays 8.30 – 5.30)
OBJECTIONS: All objections and other representations in respect of this proposal must be sent in writing to the undersigned by Friday 24 February 2012. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made.
TITLE: The order, if made, will be known as “The Borough of Test Valley (North Baddesley and Nursling & Rownhams) (Parking Places and Restriction of Waiting) Order 2012”.

Brief Description and Reasons for Change: Parking restrictions to prevent inconsiderate parking interfering with traffic flow and causing congestion.
Road Affected: Borden Way
Brief Description and Reasons for Change: Parking restrictions to prevent inconsiderate parking which is causing a problem with highway safety.
Road Affected: Botley Road
Brief Description and Reasons for Change: Extension of existing parking restrictions to prevent inconsiderate parking causing delay to regular bus services.

Brief Description and Reasons for Change: Conversion of existing 1-hour parking bays into unrestricted bays and addition of further bays to increase the availability of parking
Road Affected: Toogoods Way
Brief Description and Reasons for Change: Parking restrictions to prevent overspill parking from the local rugby club and inconsiderate parking at the weekend. Introduction of Residents’ Parking Spaces only. Residents and Visitor permits will be available to eligible residents of Toogoods Way subject to conditions on payment of a fee of £15.00 per annum per permit
