HEREBY GIVES NOTICE THAT:
An application has been made for Rosewood School to convert from non-maintained status to Free School status.
Views are sought on the question of whether the Free School arrangements should be entered into.
Views and comments can be made in one of the following ways:
• By writing to the Head Teacher, Rosewood School, at the address above or by email to rosewoodschoolconsultation@roseroad.org.uk
• By submission through the website of the Rose Road Association www.roseroad.org.uk following the link on the home page to Rosewood School consultation.
FURTHER INFORMATION:
Rosewood School is currently a non-maintained school DFE unique number 133747 registered for 40 pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities. It is run by the Rose Road Association, a registered charity no. 276172. The Rose Road Association has set up Rosewood School Limited which seeks to convert the school from being Non-maintained to Free School status, and for it to be registered for up to 60 pupils.
This consultation is about the question of whether the Free School arrangements should be entered into. The consultation will end on 20th February 2012. This consultation is to comply with Section 10 of the Academies Act 2010.
