TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
PART OF CHURCH LANE, ROMSEYNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) has made an Order to allow for repairs to take place on the carriageway, as follows:- ROAD TO BE CLOSED That part of Church Lane, Romsey in front of Romsey Abbey Primary School ALTERNATIVE ROUTE From the northern end of the closure north on Church Lane. East on Mill Lane / Horsefair. South on Church Street / Market Square. West and north on The Abbey to the southern end of the closure and vice versa PERIOD OF ORDER: From Monday 19th December 2011 for a period of
3 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner DURATION OF WORKS: Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out If you have any queries regarding the diversion or works, please contact Paul Walsh on behalf of Hampshire County Council, telephone 0845 603 5633.
