TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – PART OF ASHLEY ROAD, ASHLEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow for kerbing works to take place on the carriageway, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED That part of Ashley Road, Ashley between Chalkvale and Farley Mount Country Park
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE From the eastern point of the closure, east on Ashley Road to its junction with Woodman Lane. North on Woodman Lane. North on Watery Lane to its junction with B3049 Stockbridge Road. West on Stockbridge Road to its junction with Somborne Park Road. South west on Somborne Park Road and Winchester Road to its junction with Ashley Road. East on Ashley Road to the western point of the closure and vice versa
PERIOD OF ORDER : From Monday 12th December 2011 for a period of 3 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner
DURATION OF WORKS : Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the closure will be required for 7 days between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. each day
