TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES – EAST HAMPSHIRE NO.4
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order to allow for works on the highway to be undertaken as follows:
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads –
1. Brewers Lane, West Tisted between its junction with Brick Kiln Lane and its junction with Cannon Dell Lane.
2. Brewers Lane, West Tisted between its junction with Brick Kiln Lane and its junction with Hill Farm Road.
3. Cannon Dell Lane, West Tisted between its junction with A32 and its junction with West Tisted Road.
4. West Tisted Road, West Tisted between its junction with A32 and its junction with Lyeland Wood Lane (at parish boundary).
5. Punsholt Lane, West Tisted between its junction with West Tisted Road and its junction with Three Horseshoes Lane.
6. Station Hill, Ropley Dean between its junction with A31 and its termination at end of road.
7. Gascoigne Lane, Ropley between its junction with A31 and its junction with Dunsell’s Lane.
8. Gilbert Street, Ropley between its junction with Dunsell’s Lane and its junction with Andrew’s Lane.
9. Swelling Hill, Ropley between its junction with Andrew’s Lane and its junction with Lyeway Road.
10. Dunsell’s Lane, Ropley between its junction with Gascoigne Lane and its junction with Church Street.
11. Town Close, Ropley between its junction with Dunsell’s Lane and its termination at end of road.
12. Lyeway Road/Redbridge Lane, Ropley between its junction with Swelling Hill and its junction with Lyeway Lane.
13. Monkwood Lane, Ropley between its junction with Petersfield Road and its junction with Hill Farm Road.
14. Hill Farm Road, West Tisted between its junction with Petersfield Road and its junction with Smugglers Lane.
15. Hawthorn Lane, Four Marks between its junction with Hawthorn Lane and its junction with Headmore Lane.
16. Lyeway Lane, East Tisted between its junction with Charlwood Lane and its junction with Hawthorn Road.
17. Plain Farm Lane, East Tisted between its junction with Hawthorn Road and a point 300 metres east of its junction with Hawthorn Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: will be signed via the following roads -
1. Brick Kiln Lane, A32 Fareham Road, Cannon Dell Lane.
2. Brick Kiln Lane, A32 Fareham Road, Hill Farm Lane.
3. West Tisted Road, A32 Fareham Road.
4. A32 Fareham Road, Petersfield Road, Stapely Lane.
5. West Tisted Lane, A32 Fareham Road, Filmore Hill Lane.
6. No diversion available.
7. A31 Winchester Road, Berry Hill, Vicarage Lane, Church Street, Dunsell’s Lane.
8. Dunsell’s Lane, Lyeway Lane, Redbridge Lane, Lyeway Road, Swelling Hill.
9. Lyeway Road, Redbridge Lane, Lyeway Lane, Dunsell’s Lane, Gilbert Street.
10. Gilbert Street, Swelling Hill, Lyeway Road, Redbridge Lane, Lyeway Lane.
11. No diversion available.
12. Swelling Hill, Gilbert Street, Dunsell’s Lane, Lyeway Lane, Redbridge Lane.
13. Petersfield Road, Hill Farm Road.
14. Petersfield Road, Smugglers Lane.
15. Hawthorn Lane, Willis Lane, Headmore Lane.
16. Charlwood Lane, Petersfield Road, A32 Fareham Road, Plain Farm Road.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 14th November 2011 for a period of 12 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closures will be required for no longer than 2 weeks each in November/December to allow for pre patching and then 2 days each next year for the dressing.)
