STATEMENT OF REPRESENTATION PROCEDURES (REGULATION 27)
Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2008
HAMPSHIRE MINERALS AND WASTE PLAN
Hampshire County Council, in partnership with Southampton and Portsmouth City Councils and the New Forest and South Downs National Park Authorities, plans to submit the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan to the Secretary of State of Communities and Local Government. The submission documents are being published for public representations.
Document Title: Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan
Subject matter and area covered: The Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan sets out the vision, objectives, spatial strategy, and policies to enable the delivery of sustainable minerals and waste development for the period 2011-2030. This includes site allocations and is supported by a Proposals Map. The area covered is the administrative areas of Hampshire County Council, Southampton and Portsmouth City Councils and the New Forest National Park Authority, as well as the portion of the South Downs National Park Authority that lies within Hampshire.

You can indicate on your representations, if you wish to be notified of any of the following:
(i) that the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan has been submitted for independent examination;
(ii) the publication of the recommendations of any person appointed to carry out an independent examination of the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan, and
(iii) the adoption of the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan.
All submission documents, including background papers and the sustainability appraisal, are available to view on the County Council’s website at http://consult.hants.gov.uk
Documents are also available for inspection from 7 November to 19 December, Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm at:
Hampshire County Council offices, The Castle, Winchester
Southampton City Council offices, Civic Centre, Southampton
Portsmouth City Council offices, Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth
New Forest National Park offices, Lymington Town Hall, Avenue Road, Lymington
South Downs National Park offices, Hatton House, Bepton Road, Midhurst
The Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan, as well as electronic copies of the supporting documents are also available for inspection in static public libraries throughout Hampshire during their normal opening hours. This includes libraries and other neighbourhood Council offices (as appropriate) in Southampton and Portsmouth.
