TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –
PART OF A3057 GREATBRIDGE ROAD, ROMSEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) has made an Order to allow for works to take place at the railway bridge, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED That part of A3057 Greatbridge Road, Romsey under the railway bridge
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE For vehicles under 3.1m high – from the southern point of the closure south west on Duttons Road. South west on Malmesbury Road. South on Alma Road. East on Winchester Road. North on Cupernham Lane. West on Fishlake Meadows. South on Greatbridge Road to the northern point of the closure and vice versa
For vehicles over 3.1m high – from the southern point of the closure south west on Duttons Road. South West on Malmesbury Road. South on Alma Road. East on Winchester Road. South east on A27. North east on M3. West on A3090. North on Cupernham Lane. West on Fishlake Meadows. South on Greatbridge Road to the northern point of the closure and vice versa
PERIOD OF ORDER : From Saturday 29th October 2011 for a period of 3 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner
DURATION OF WORKS : Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one night from 10.30 p.m. until 9.30 a.m. Sunday 30th October
