TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –
PART OF CHILWORTH OLD VILLAGE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow for works to lay a new water main, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED Part of Chilworth Old Village between Manor Farm and St Denys’ Church
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE From the eastern point of the closure, north on Chilworth Old Village. North west on Botley Road. South east on Chilworth Old Village to the western point of the closure and vice versa
PERIOD OF ORDER: From Monday 3rd October 2011 for a period of 3 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner
DURATION OF WORKS: Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 25th November
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out
