TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –
PART OF A3057 GREATBRIDGE ROAD, TIMSBURY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow for works to replace the existing water main, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED That part of A3057 Greatbridge Road from B3084 Stanbridge Lane to Yokesford Hill
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE From the southern point of the closure south on A3057 Greatbridge Road to the junction with Fishlake Meadows. East on Fishlake Meadows to the junction with Cupernham Lane. North on Cupernham Lane to the junction with Belbins. West on Belbins and Yokesford Hill to the northern point of the closure and vice versa
PERIOD OF ORDER: From Monday 3rd October 2011 for a period of 3 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner
DURATION OF WORKS: Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the closure will be required for a period of 3 weeks Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out
