TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –
LEE LANE, ROMSEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow for works to replace the existing railway bridge, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED Lee Lane, Romsey
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE From the eastern point of the closure south on A3057 Southampton Road to the junction with Coldharbour Lane. West on Coldharbour Lane to the junction with Lee Lane. North on Lee Lane to the western point of the closure and vice versa
PERIOD OF ORDER: From Monday 3rd October 2011 for a period of 4 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner
DURATION OF WORKS: Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the closure will be required for a period of 3 months
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out
