TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES – B3046
FARLEIGH ROAD,THE CANDOVERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order to allow for works on the highway to be undertaken as follows:
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads -
1. B3046 Farleigh Road between its junction with the entrance to Preston Candover Primary School and a point 250 metres south of its junction with Bugmore Lane.
2. B3046 Farleigh Road between its junction with the entrance to Manor Farm, Chilton Candover and a point 275m north east of Spiers Lane (The Avenue).
3. B3046 Farleigh Road between its junction with the entrance to Manor Farm, Brown Candover and its junction with Bryces Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: for all the above will be signed via the following roads -
1. B3046 Farleigh Road, Duxford Lane, A30/A33 Winchester Road, Main Road, Kites Hill, Totford Hill, B3046 Farleigh Road.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 1st August 2011 for a period of 12 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closures will be required for no longer than 1-2 days each.)
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
