TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –
PART OF B3398 GREATBRIDGE ROAD, ROMSEY NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow for the connection of a sewer, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED Part of Greatbridge Road, Romsey at its junction with Malthouse Close
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES From the northern point of the closure north on Greatbridge Road to the junction with Duttons Road. South east on Duttons Road to the junction with Malmesbury Road. South on Malmesbury Road and Alma Road to the junction of The Hundred. West on The Hundred to the junction with Palmerston Street. South on Palmerston Street to the junction with Broadwater Road. West on Broadwater Road to the junction with Bell Street. North on Bell Street, Market Place and Church Street to the junction with The Horsefair. West on The Horsefair to the junction with Cherville Street. North on Cherville Street to southern point of the closure
From the southern point of the closure south on Cherville Street to the junction with The Horsefair. East on The Horsefair to the junction with Church Street. South on Church Street to the junction with Market Place. East on Market Place and The Hundred to the junction with Alma Road. North on Alma Road, Malmesbury Road and Duttons Road to the junction with Greatbridge Road. South on Greatbridge Road to the northern point of the closure
PERIOD OF ORDER : From Saturday 30th July 2011 for a period of 3 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner
DURATION OF WORKS : Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the closure will be required until Thursday 11th August
