TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES –
THE HUNDRED AND WINCHESTER ROAD, ROMSEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council proposes to make an order to allow for works on the highway to be undertaken as follows:
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads -
1. The Hundred, Romsey between its junction with Palmerston Street and its junction with Alma Road.
2. Winchester Road, Romsey between its junction with Alma Road and its junction with Southampton Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: will be signed via the following roads -
1. Palmerston Street, A3090 Romsey Bypass, A27 Southampton Road, Winchester Road.
2. The Hundred, Palmerston Street, A3090 Romsey Bypass, A27 Southampton Road.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 25th July 2011 for a period of 3 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.
(Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closures will be required for no longer than 1 night each.)
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
