South Downs National Park Authority Audit of Accounts

South Downs National Park Authority Audit of Accounts - Notice of Public Rights Audit Commission Act 1998, sections 15 - 16 Accounts and Audit Regulations 2011, Regulations 9, 10, 21, 22, & 24 Each year the authority's accounts are audited and any person interested has the opportunity to inspect and make copies of the accounts and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating to them. For the year ended 31 March 2015 these documents will be available on application to Brighton & Hove City Council, Financial Accounts, Financial Services, 3rd Floor Bartholomew House, Bartholomew Square, Brighton between 9.00a.m and 4.30p.m on weekdays between 17 June 2015 and 14 July 2015. The unaudited Statement of Accounts can be found on the authority's website www.southdowns.gov.uk from 17 June 2015. Local Government electors and their representatives also have:

? the opportunity to question the auditor about the accounts. The auditors will be at Wessex House, 19 Threefield Lane, Southampton for this purpose on 20 July 2015 and will continue to be available until the audit has been completed;

? the right to attend before the auditor and make objections to the accounts or any items in them. Written notice of any objection must first be given to the auditor and a copy sent to Brighton & Hove City Council.

The audit is being carried out by Mr Paul King, Ernst & Young LLP, Wessex House,19 Threefield Lane, Southampton, SO14 3QB and will be conducted under the provisions of the Audit Commission Act 1998 and the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2011.
