NOTIFICATION OF AVAILABILITY OF SUPPLEMENTARY ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that supplementary environmental information is available in relation to an application made by EDF Energy Renewables Limited (Company No. 06456689 whose registered offices are at 40 Grosvenor Place, London, SW1X 7EN) on 8 April 2013 for planning permission for the erection of 7 wind turbines up to 126.5m in height to blade tip and ancillary equipment, site access, external transformers, foundations, crane hardstandings, access tracks, cable trenches, anemometry mast, control building and temporary construction compound, in conjunction with planning applications to Test Valley Borough Council for 3 wind turbines, ancillary equipment, external transformers, foundations, crane hardstandings, access tracks, cable trenches and Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for 4 wind turbines, ancillary equipment, external transformers, foundations, crane hardstandings, access tracks, cable trenches, as part of a single windfarm of 14 turbines for an operational period of 25 years on the following site:

Land north east of the Bullington Cross interchange at Upper Norton Farm, Sutton Scotney, Hampshire.

The application for planning permission (ref: 13/00800/FUL) was made to Winchester City Council of City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 9LJ and is the subject of an appeal lodged with the Planning Inspectorate following the decision of the Council to refuse planning permission for the proposed development (Ref: APP/L1765/W/14/3001602). The appeal will be considered at a Public Inquiry commencing on 13 October 2015. The Council will give notice of the venue when arrangements have been made.

The supplementary environmental information is intended to update, and should be read together with, the environmental information contained in the Environmental Statement submitted in support of the planning application and the supplementary environmental information submitted in November 2013.

Copies of the supplementary environmental information, together with the Environmental Statement and supplementary environmental information of November 2013, are deposited at the office of Winchester City Council (City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 9LJ) and may be inspected by members of the public within the standard opening hours of the Council for a period of 21 (twenty-one) days from (and including) 1 April 2015.

Members of the public may obtain a copy of the supplementary environmental information from EDF Energy Renewables Limited of Alexander House, 1 Mandarin Road, Rainton Bridge Business Park, Houghton le Spring, Sunderland, DH4 5RA (Telephone: 0800 048 4647) as long as stocks last at a cost of £50 for a paper document. This excludes Volume 2c which is prohibitively expensive to produce and can be obtained separately at a cost of £650. All volumes are available free on DVD-ROM. Any person who wishes to comment on the supplementary environmental information should send written comments to Ms Leanne Palmer of The Planning Inspectorate, Room 3/26, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Bristol, BS1 6PN, within 21 (twenty-one) days from (and including) 1 April 2015 quoting reference APP/L1765/W/14/3001602. Any comments received will be copied in full to Winchester City Council and EDF Energy Renewables Limited.
