Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2012 Regulation 18 - Test Valley Borough Gypsy and Traveller Development Plan Document
Test Valley Borough Council has published for public participation its Regulation 18 version of the Test Valley Borough Gypsy and Travellers DPD. The Council has a responsibility to plan for the housing needs of all residents, including the Gypsy, Traveller and Travelling Showpeople community.
The Council proposes a Gypsy & Traveller Development Plan Document to accompany the Revised Local Plan. This document will cover the whole borough except for that part within the New Forest National Park. If and when the Gypsy and Traveller Development Plan is adopted it will form part of the Local Development Framework (LDF) for the area. Copies of the Gypsy and Traveller Development Plan Document, the Sustainability Appraisal and the Habitats Regulations Assessment are available on the Council's website and for public inspection between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 on Mondays to Thursdays and 09:00 and 16:30 on Fridays at Beech Hurst, Weyhill Road, Andover, Hampshire, SP10 3AJ and the Former Magistrates Court, Church Street, Romsey, Hampshire, SO51 8AQ.
The Gypsy and Traveller DPD is only available for reference only during library opening times at local libraries at Andover, Romsey, North Baddesley, Chandler's Ford and Lordshill, Southampton.

Full guidance on how to respond can be found on the website and at the Council Offices. Only those representations that are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above (in either hard copy or electronically) within the six week period between Friday 6th February and ending at 4:30pm on Friday 20th March 2015 will have the right to have their representations considered. The Council will not accept any inappropriate or racist comments.
