Notice of Determination

A34 NORTHBOUND KINGS WORTHY LAYBY DETERMINATION BYTHE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR TRANSPORT UNDER SECTION 105A(3) OF THE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
The secretary of state for transport hereby gives notice that he has determined that his proposal to carry out the A34 Northbound K^s Worthy Layby scheme, which is located betWe'en the A34's junction with the M3 and the A34's junction with the A272 and includes the construction of a new lay-by that meets the required design standards and removal of the existing lay-by, is a relevant project within the meaning of section 105A (1) of the Highway! Act 1980 and is not subject to t environmental impact assessment in accordance with Part VA of the Highways Act 1980 implementing
Directive 85/337/EEC as amended by Directive 97/11/EC.
