A34/A33 KINGS WORTHY LINK ROADS DRAINAGE
REMEDIATION SCHEME DETERMINATION BY
THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR TRANSPORT
UNDER SECTION 105A(3) OFTHE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has determined that his proposal to undertake drainage works to include clearance and re-establishment of drainage ditch to River Itchen, new filter drain and catchpits jetting to clear survey abandoned pipes of debris and other obstructions, repair of all defects, upsizing of pipes to increase capacity, and installation of new pollution control device (Penstock valve) is a relevant project within the meaning of section 105A(1) of the Highways Act 1980 and is not subject to environmental impact assessment in accordance with Part VA of the Highways Act 1980 implementing Directive 85/337/EEC as amended by Directive 97/11/EC.
Any comments about this notice should be sent, as soon as possible and not later than 6 weeks from the date of this notice to Highways Agency, Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey, RH4 1SZ.
