CHANNEL DREDGE DISPOSAL
Notice is hereby given that Associated British Ports, Ocean Gate, Atlantic Way, Southampton, SO14 3QN has applied to the Marine Management Organisation to undertake a regulated activity under Part 4 of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009.
The application is to vary the location of the permitted disposal site for sand and granular material arising from the Southampton Approach Channel Dredge from the Nab Deposit Ground so as to include the adjacent licensed aggregate area 451 to enable future reuse of the material.
A copy of the application, environmental statement and supplementary information is available for inspection during normal office hours for free at the Civic Centre Library, Southampton for a period of 42 days from 27th December 2013 or at www.southamptonvts.co.uk.
Copies of the environmental statement may also be inspected free of charge and by prior appointment at the offices of the Marine Management Organisation, Newcastle upon Tyne. Copies of the environmental statement and supplementary information may be viewed on line in the Public Register at www.marinemanagement.org.uk/licensing/public_register.
Representations or objections in respect of the application should be made in writing, giving an address to which correspondence relating to the representation or objection may be sent, to the Marine Management Organisation, Lancaster House, Hampshire Court, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7YH, or alternatively email to siobhan.sherry@marinemanagement.org.uk within 42 days of 27th December 2013, quoting reference 34302/090114/6.
The Marine Management Organisation will pass to the applicant a copy of any objection or representation we receive.
