Winchester City Council
Invitation for Expression of Interest

Winchester City Council are proposing the refurbishment of Avalon House, Chesil Street, Winchester and are seeking expressions of interest from the following contractors:-

Site Clearance Contractors
General Building Contractors
Mechanical & Plumbing Contractor
Electrical Contractor
Decorating Contractor

Registration of interest must be submitted electronically to Mr G Harper, Corporate Surveyor, Winchester City Council, Colebrook Street, Winchester, SO23 9LJ gharper2@winchester.gov.uk

Following receipt of interest, Winchester City Council will circulate pre-qualification criteria from which a final selection of contractors for formal invitation to tender will be concluded.

Invitations should be supported with details of:-

relevant experience
confirmation of company turnover
minimum PI insurance of £1million where relevant
contractors all risks of £10 million
public liability of £10 million
confirmation of registration with Construction Line
third party customer/client references

Expressions of interest should be received no later than 17th January 2014.
