Notice of application for the grant of a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that University of Southampton' andThe University Of Southampton Students' Union have applied to Winchester City Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of premises to be known as The Catering & Social Facility Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton, Park Avenue', Winchester, SO23 8DL. The proposed licensable activities and their hours are : to permit the sale of alcohol from 0900 until midnight each day; to permit the showing of films, playing of live music and recorded music from 0900 until midnight; and to permit the performance of plays; provision of indoor sports and performances of dance from 2300 until midnight each day. The premises to be open from 0700 until 0030 each day. Any representa­tions regarding the above-mentioned
application must be received in writing by Licensing Department, Winchester City Council, City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester, SO23 9LJ no later than 21st August 2013 stating the grounds for objection. The register of
Winchester City Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, during normal busi ness hours or on the council's website - www.winchester.gov.uk
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in con-nection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is £5,000.
