Winchester City Council
Invitation for Expression of Interest
Winchester City Council are seeking planning permission for the conversion of Abbey Mill, Abbey Gardens, Winchester from office to restaurant use. Expressions of interest are sought from the following trade package contractors for the partial refurbishment of Abbey Mill,:-
- Demolition & Site Clearance Contractors
- Groundworks Contractors
- Plumbing Contractor
- Electrical Contractor
- Decorating Contractor
- Lift Contractor

Subject to the grant of Planning Permission and Listed Building consent, this project is to prepare the building to a 'shell standard' to be completed to occupancy standard by the ingoing tenant.

Following receipt of interest, Gentle Consulting Ltd will circulate pre-qualification criteria from which a final selection of each trade package for formal invitation to tender will be concluded.
Invitations should be supported with details of:-
- relevant experience
- confirmation of company turnover
- minimum PI insurance of £1 million where relevant
- contractors all risks of £5 million
- public liability of £10 million
- confirmation of registration with Construction Line
- third party customer/client references
Expressions of interest should be received no later than 31st May 2013.
