FIT fund-raisers have exerted themselves to raise a predicted £5,000 for the British Heart Foundation.
Some 30 people took part in the 24-hour gym challenge at the Winchester Tennis and Squash Club recently.
Theyu comprised four teams and everyone stayed at the club off Bereweeke Road for the full 24 hours.
To keep the energy going they even staged a fancy dress round at 3am.
Peter Symonds College sports therapy students gave massages when bodies needed it.
Sponsorship was provided by Waitrose, Wilds Sports, Mozzo Coffee, Hildon Water, and Festival Drinks.
Organisers think they will raise around £5,000.
Rebecca Owen, fitness manager, said: “It was a fun 24 hours, and I would also like to say a huge thank you to all the members taking part, the staff who were all amazing, and the staff team leaders, Lee Padwick, Clare Keenan and Adam Grant and for those who have sponsored us, we couldn’t have done it without you.”
