CYCLISTS are saddling up for a series of activities as part of Winchester Bike Week.
The annual event, which has become a regular fixture on the city calendar, began this morning (Saturday, June 13).
First on the schedule was the Cycle Cavalcade, where bicycle fans gathered at King Alfred’s statue in The Broadway.
They headed on a quick tour of the city after the event was started by Cllr Richard Worrall, Winchester City Council’s ‘cycling champion’.
Several other events are planned before the programme ends on Saturday, June 20. Visit www.winchesterbikeweek.org.uk for more details.
