THE next First Sunday in the Month Fundraising Walk will be on Sunday, May 5.

The walk will start from Chic Teak Vistors’ Car Park, Southwood Farm, Dummer, at 10.30am. The walk is under 4 miles in total on right-of-way, with farmland surrounding on all sides. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.

The walk will take attendees up the west side of South Wood looking out over the lands towards North Waltham. It will then go through Bull’s Bushes Copse, before heating east towards Pardown and returning to the car park along the east side of South Wood. Upon return to the car park, Chic Teak will be open to attendees.

The walk will be in aid of Hampshire Medical Fund. A donation of £5 is suggested, with children able to attend for free. For more information, contact Sue Bell by emailing suebell0906@gmail.com.

A PLANT sale and coffee morning is taking place at St Mary’s Church, Micheldever on Friday, May 24. The sale will last from 9.30am to 12noon.

Real coffee, homemade cakes and biscuits and bacon sandwiches will be on offer.

THE Holy Trinity Pop-up Café will be returning to Victoria Hall, Sutton Scotney on Wednesday, May 5 to support The Gratton Trust Mower Appeal.

The appeal will raise funds to purchase a new mower for the Gratton Trust, helping with the upkeep of the site.

The pop-up café will be open from 9.30am until noon.

MICHELDEVER Village Fete will return on Saturday, July 20.

This year the fete will be at the Lord Rank Playing Field, raising funds for the maintenance of St Mary’s Church, Micheldever. There will be a variety of stalls, including bric a brac, plants, tombola, spirits, children’s games, books, bottles and more. There will also be the Tea Tent and a BBQ.

The arena will feature a dog show as well as traditional family competitions.

TENNIS coaching will return to the Gratton, Sutton Scotney, from May 28 to May 30 during half term.

There is no charge for the coaching, as it is paid for out of funds generated by the Gratton Trust. Three different classes are available, for children aged 4 to 8, 9 to 11 and from 12 to adult. More information can be found on the Absolute Tennis website.

THE Dever Valley Singers are holding a pair of concerts to celebrate the group’s 40th anniversary.

The concerts will be held at St. Margeret’s Church, South Wonston on Saturday, June 15 at 7.30pm and at St. Mary the Virgin Church, Micheldever on Sunday, June 16 at 6pm. There will be a retiring collection for church funds.

SOUTH Wonston Sustainability is holding a Give, Swap, Buy event on Monday, May 6 at South Wonston Pavilion.

A range of different table sizes are available for free, and it is up to each individual if they want to sell, give away or swap their items. A seed swap is also be held.
