THE Gratton Trust and Victoria Hall are holding a “Jingle and Mingle” event on Saturday, December 16.

Held from 5pm to 7pm at the Victoria Hall, in Sutton Scotney, the event be a Christmas sing-along, open to all. Refreshments will be available.

THE Wonston Design Statement Team is seeking feedback from Wonston residents.

Residents are invited to complete a survey about the future quality and design of new development across the parish of Wonston. The survey will take no longer than 15 minutes to complete, and the results will be presented for comment at a public meeting and used to draft Wonston Parish Design Statement.

Completed surveys will be entered into a draw to win one of three £75 food vouchers from The Dever Stores. The survey is open from November 16 to November 25 and can be found by visiting surveymonkey.co.uk/r/3DBZDZX.

WONSTON Community Café will be returning on Wednesday, December 13 to the Victoria Hall, Sutton Scotney.

The café will be raising money for Young Lives vs Cancer, a charity which helps families find the strength to face everything cancer throws at them. As usual, the café will be serving homemade cakes and cookies, and there might even be some seasonal treats.

The café is cash only.

THE Warren Centre, at Micheldever Station, is holding a “Magical Christmas” event on December 2.

The event will feature a magician, music, opportunities to meet Father Christmas at his grotto, Christmas card-making, sales and more. Tickets cost £2 per adult and include a mince pie and mulled wine.

THE Dever Singers are holding their Christmas Concerts on Saturday, December 9 at St Margaret’s Church, South Wonston and Sunday, December 10 at St Mary the Virgin Church, Micheldever. The concerts will feature a retiring collection for church funds.

ENTERTAINMENT Events is returning to Micheldever with a new production of Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol. Join Marley, Tiny Tim and the Ghosts of Christmas Past Present and Future as they teach Scrooge the true meaning of Christmas.

The show will take place at St Mary’s Church, Micheldever on Sunday, December 3. Suitable for all ages, the show will start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £12 and can be purchased on TicketSource or by contacting Juliet Pattinson by calling 01962 774399 or emailing julietpattinson61@gmail.com.

SUTTON Scotney Divos' and Devers have announced their 2023 Christmas panto, The Wizard of Oz.

Performances will take place at 7.30pm on Thursday, December 7 to Saturday, December 9 with matinee performances at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday, December 10. The performances will be held at Victoria Hall, on Wonston Close.

The show is appropriate for all the family, and tickets are now on sale. All proceeds go to charity, including the Victoria Hall.

DEVER History Society is holding a talk on the American illustrator Norman Rockwell.

Known for his idealised depictions of American Life, his work will be discussed at the Warren Centre in Micheldever Station on December 5, with the talk starting at 8pm. Tickets cost £10 at the door and include a glass of wine and a mince pie.
