FIREFIGHTERS were called to Bullington Cross after a car caught fire.
They were called to the scene at 5.11pm yesterday (July 9) to an alight car on a slip road on the A303.
The fire forced one lane to shut which caused traffic problems during rush hour.
A spokesman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue said: “We quickly got to work and extinguished the fire using breathing aparatus and a hose reel jet. The cause of the fire is not known.”
It is not known if any persons were hurt in the blaze.
