A FOUR-legged fundraiser from King's Somborne has raised more than £200 for a village charity.
Snatch the dog has raised the money for her owner's charity, Brainstrust by walking from Haworth to Top Withens in the Pennines, a trail walked by the Bronte sisters.
The Brainstrust charity was set up by King's Somborne mum, Helen Bulbeck, whose daughter, Meg Jones, was diagnosed with a brain tumour when she was 18.
Mrs Bulbeck set up the charity to raise the money for Meg's pioneering operation in the United States and help other sufferers.
Meg had her operation this summer and was given the all-clear earlier this month, but this has not stopped money rolling into her charity, which is now aiming to bring the stateside technology to the UK.
Meg's dog, Snatch, did her bit to make the centre of excellence a reality as she raised £210 by taking part in the sponsored walk with Mr and Mrs Bulbeck from Haworth to Top Withens in the Pennines.
